Pau-Pyrenees Airport (Aéroport Pau Pyrénées) is located seven kilometres north of the city centre and about an hour’s drive from the Pyrenees’ ski stations and the beaches of France’s south-west coastline. IDELIS shuttle bus runs from Pau-Pyrenees Airport to Pau town centre and Pau train station. The buses depart from the airport every hour from 7:40am-7:40pm. From the train station the bus leaves approximately every hour from 6:30am-7:50pm. You can buy tickets directly from the bus driver and the journey from Pau-Pyrenees Airport to Pau train station takes about 30 minutes. However, please notice the IDELIS shuttle bus does not run on Sundays or on French public holidays and that it is advisable to book a taxi instead.
